Northeast Ohio Weather: Sunny today; rain and thunder tomorrow

Sunny sky today. The Cleveland Weather Team is tracking low pressure over South Dakota, which is expected to gain moisture as it approaches our area by tomorrow morning. Rain and embedded thunderstorms are expected to be forecast across northern Ohio tomorrow, with the highest chance of rain expected to occur during the first half of the day. A cold front will drag through Saturday evening with a few showers and rain showers expected. Easter Sunday is predicted to be largely dry until late Easter Sunday, with another system expected to impact the area late Sunday afternoon and Sunday night with rain and thunderstorms.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The sky has cleared and it’ll be another sunny day out there. Afternoon temperatures for most of us around 50 degrees. Areas east of Cleveland will hold in the 40s for a high. The team is tracking low pressure over South Dakota this morning. This system will gain moisture as it approaches our area by tomorrow morning. Rain and embedded thunderstorms will be tracking through northern Ohio tomorrow. The highest chance of rain looks to be the first half of the day. The cold front will drag through Saturday evening with a few showers with it. Easter Sunday is looking pretty dry until we get to the later part of the afternoon. The next system begins to impact the area late Sunday afternoon and Sunday night with another round of rain and thunderstorms.
