Browns Make Decision on Maliek Collins' Future After 6 Games
Maliek Collins came back from a torn quadriceps to play every game for the Browns this fall, and the team has now made a call on his future. Cleveland Browns have made a decision on the future of defensive tackle Maliek Collins, who has played in all six games this season and has collected 3.5 sacks, eight quarterback hits, and five tackles for loss. Collins, despite a torn quadriceps suffered in a game against the 49ers on Nov. 30, is back from missing OTAs and minicamp but was fit to play Week 1. The Browns have also signed Collins with a two-year, $30 million extension that carries through 2028 with $23 million guaranteed. This extension keeps Collins from testing the open market and replaces his two-years, $20 million contract signed in 2025 after the 49er released him. The team is currently 4-2 and currently leads the AFC North.
