Cleveland fire crews found a dead man inside of a burning home Tuesday at a home in the 3200 block of East 123rd Street. A man was found dead inside a burning two-story home in Cleveland's Mount Pleasant neighborhood. The victim may have died before the fire started, according to authorities. The Cuyahoga County medical examiner will perform an autopsy. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. A resident who lives in the downstairs portion of the home escaped without injuries.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – A man was found dead inside of a burning two-story home Tuesday in the city’s Mount Pleasant neighborhood.
Authorities have not identified the victim. Firefighters responded about 8:25 p.m. to the home in the 3200 block of East 123rd Street, where smoke was coming from the second floor.
Authorities believe the man may have died before the fire started, according to John Kearns, a spokesman for Cleveland Division of Fire.
The office of the Cuyahoga County medical examiner will perform an autopsy.
Authorities have not determined the cause of the fire. A resident who lives in the downstairs portion of the home escaped without injuries.
