Cool today with a mostly cloudy sky this morning then afternoon sunshine. The Cleveland area is experiencing a mild warm up, with temperatures expected to remain below normal, but below the 50s for the afternoon. Lake effect clouds are expected to affect temperatures throughout the day, with some pockets of 40s expected early tomorrow morning. The warmest day of the week is expected to be Thursday, when temperatures will reach the 80s.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The air mass is still cool enough to generate some lake effect clouds this morning. I think we see more sun this afternoon. Temperatures remain below normal, but not as chilly as yesterday. Afternoon readings in the 65 to 70 degree range in most towns. Some high level clouds track in tonight with temperatures falling well into the 50s. There will be some pockets of 40s come early tomorrow morning. A warmer day tomorrow with a sunny to partly cloudy sky. The warmest day this week looks to be Thursday as temperatures soar well into the 80s.
