From Cleveland to Pixar: Local animator helps bring ‘Inside Out 2′ to the big screen
Cleveland native Kristina Kovacs worked as an animator for Pixar's "Inside Out 2" Disney and Pixar's "Inside Out 2," a sequel to the classic Disney and Pixar film "Inside out 2," will be released in theaters in June 2024. Local animator Kristina Kovacs, who grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, helped bring the film to the big screen. The film is directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen and directed by Michael L. Nielsen. The movie is set to debut in theaters from June 14, 2024. Kovacs grew up a fan of Pixar films and recalls seeing "Ratatouille" and "Up" in theaters as a child. CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Growing up in Cleveland’s east suburbs, Kristina Kovacs was a big Pixar fan. “I loved ‘Ratatouille’ and ‘Up,’” she recalled. “I remember seeing ‘Toy Story 2′ in theaters. That was one of my first movies as a kid.”
