Browns Make Decision on Maliek Collins' Future After 6 Games
Maliek Collins came back from a torn quadriceps to play every game for the Browns this fall, and the team has now made a call on his future. Cleveland Browns are currently 4-2 in the AFC North, with a strong defense under head coach Todd Monken. Defensive tackle Maliek Collins has played in all six games this season, collecting 3.5 sacks, eight quarterback hits, and five tackles for loss. Collins is back from a torn quadriceps suffered against the 49ers on Nov. 30, which ended a 2025 season where he had a career-best 6.5 sack. The Browns have also signed Collins with a two-year, $30 million extension that carries through 2028 with $23 million guaranteed. The deal keeps Collins from testing the open market and replaces his two-years, $20 million contract signed in 2025 after the 49er released him.
