These NFL Draft targets could be boom or bust prospects for the Browns (video)

NFL Draft targets that could have a high risk/high reward if drafted by the Browns. The Cleveland Browns are currently completing their list of potential NFL Draft targets for the team. While they have no first-round pick due to the Deshaun Watson trade, there are potentially "boom-or-bust" prospects that the Browns can scout. Among them are Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy and Florida State defensive tackle Braden Fiske. Worthy finished the 2023 season with 75 catches for 1,014 yards and five touchdowns, finishing 31st ranked in receiving yards and tying for 29th in receptions. Fisake played for one of the nation's best teams and is currently considered a valuable prospect for the Browns.

CLEVELAND, Ohio —The Browns are a month away from the NFL Draft, and are completing their list of players to possibly draft. While they don’t have a first-round pick again because of the Deshaun Watson trade, there are “boom-or-bust” prospects they can scout.

Among the prospects who may fit that category are Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy and Florida State defensive tackle Braden Fiske.

If the Browns were to add to their wide receiver room, there’s a nice prospect in Texas’ Xavier Worthy. He finished the 2023 season with 75 catches for 1,014 yards (13.5 per catch) and five touchdowns, finishing 31st ranked in receiving yards and tying for 29th in receptions.

Worthy ran a 4.21 40-yard dash during the NFL Draft combine, and showed an ability for creating space and separation with deep speed during his junior season.

Going to the defensive side, the Browns obviously hold one of the better defensive lines in the league. But if the Browns were to draft a player into that unit, there’s Fiske.

After starring for four seasons at Western Michigan, Fiske used his fifth year of eligibility in Tallahassee. He played for one of the nation’s best teams and recorded 43 tackles and 6.0 sacks, tying for 13th in the Atlantic Coast Conference in sacks.
