A woman is dead and another person seriously injured following a motorcycle crash involving a deer in Marion County, Ohio. The crash occurred on state Route 37 around 12:15 a.m. on Saturday. The driver of a Harley Davidson FLHTKL Ultra Limited Low was traveling northbound when a deer entered the road, causing the motorcycle to land on its side. The motorcyclist was seriously injured and another passenger was taken to Marion General Hospital with serious injuries and later flown to Grant Medical Center where both died.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A woman is dead and another person is seriously injured after a motorcycle crash involving a deer in Marion County early Saturday morning.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened on state Route 37 around 12:15 a.m. The driver of a Harley Davidson FLHTKL Ultra Limited Low was traveling northbound on the road when a deer entered the road, a preliminary investigation indicated.
The driver hit the deer, causing the motorcycle to land on its side, OSHP says.
The motorcyclist was taken to Marion General Hospital with serious injuries and a McCormack was taken with life-threatening injuries.
Both were later flown to Grant Medical Center where McCormack later died.
