Cleveland Cavaliers are facing the unbeaten Minnesota Timberwolves in their first two games, where they have struggled to maintain large leads in their last two games. The Cavaliers recently won 125-121 over the Brooklyn Nets, despite allowing the Nets to level the score in the final seconds of the game. The Wolves, who have won their 11th consecutive home opener, are considered a legitimate NBA title contender with Anthony Edwards, Rudy Gobert and LaMelo Ball. Cleveland's Donovan Mitchell, forward Evan Mobley and center Jarrett Allen have been standout performers so far, averaging 63.5 points, 24.0 rebounds and 4.5 blocked shots, while shooting 58.4% from the field. Cleveland coach Kenny Atkinson acknowledged the team's lack of elite condition and said it is something to clean up for the second game.
