CLEVELAND — We’re expecting hot and humid conditions across Northeast Ohio today with highs well into the 80s -- and the National Weather Service has issued an Air Quality Advisory in the following counties that will remain in effect for the entire day:

“Air quality levels will be unhealthy for sensitive groups during this period,” according to the advisory as issued by the National Weather Service in Cleveland. “If you are in the sensitive groups category of children, the elderly and those with breathing difficulties, please monitor your outdoor activity and check air quality readings at airnow.gov.”

3News’ Senior Meteorologist Matt Wintz says we’re expecting the heat and humidity into the evening hours as well.

“It’s going to be a muggy night tonight,” Wintz says. “AC on for sure. We’re only going to fall back down near 70 for a low.”
