Leonid & Friends to return to Capitol Theatre
CLEARWATER — Leonid & Friends will perform on Sunday, April 14, 8 p.m., at the Bilheimer Capitol Theatre, 405 Cleveland St., Clearwater. Leonid & Friends, a YouTube sensation tribute band from Moscow, Russia, will perform at the Capitol Theatre in Clearwater on April 14. The band has been gaining popularity with its ability to capture the spirit, musicality and fire of American super-group Chicago. They have since expanded their repertoire to include Earth Wind & Fire, Blood Sweat & Tears, Ides of March, Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, Deep Purple and new original material. Leonid Vorobyev's goal was to create a studio project dedicated to Chicago under the motto "musicians for musicians". The band now has over 700,000 followers across social media, an astonishing 150 million video views, and over 200 successful U.S. shows.

Leonid Vorobyev’s goal was a studio project in dedication to Chicago under the motto “musicians for musicians.” A first video went viral, but their music really gained traction when Chicago itself published the video on its official website.
