The April 8 solar eclipse will occur in Northeast Ohio, with multiple locations in the path of totality. Live coverage will begin at 2 p.m. on WKYC and will include coverage of the solar eclipse along with the Cleveland Guardians home opener. The eclipse also coincides with the 2024 home opener at Progressive Field. Both coverage and pregame coverage will be streamed live on WKKYC. While the eclipse times will vary depending on location, 3News' Betsy Kling and Jay Crawford will host a live streaming eclipse special on their YouTube channel.

TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE PARK ON WKYC

Since the eclipse also comes the same day as the 2024 Cleveland Guardians home opener at Progressive Field, we're kicking off our extended "Total Eclipse of the Park" coverage at 2 p.m. across all WKYC platforms.
