Browns Make Decision on Maliek Collins' Future After 6 Games
Maliek Collins came back from a torn quadriceps to play every game for the Browns this fall, and the team has now made a call on his future. Cleveland Browns are currently 4-2 in the AFC North, with a strong defense under head coach Todd Monken. Defensive tackle Maliek Collins has played in all six games this season, collecting 3.5 sacks, eight quarterback hits, and five tackles for loss. Despite a torn quadriceps suffered in a game against the 49ers, Collins was fit to play despite missing OTAs and minicamp. The Browns have also signed Collins with a two-year, $30 million extension that carries through 2028 with $23 million guaranteed. The deal keeps Collins from testing the open market and replaces his two-years, $20 million contract signed in 2025.
